A LIZARD'S TAIL
In which I will describe, show pictures of, and otherwise expound on plants and animals mentioned in the novel.
R is for Rhyme
There's a little rhyme that Marvin keeps hearing. At least he thinks he's hearing it. It could just be the wind in the palm trees or it could just be in his head. He hears it and doesn't hear it, it's familiar and it isn't familiar.
Follow the way.
Follow the night
As the night follows day."
What could it possibly mean?
Hi Bish - Marvin is smart he'll find out .. but it's a great little rhyme that Marvin hears ..

ReplyDeleteMaybe it refers to the direction?
ReplyDeleteNice little rhyme! Sweet and whimsical. Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteMy mind gravitates to finding your own path--the wind being a symbol of that--and then persisting as night always leads into day. (Or from the darkness of not knowing you're headed the right way into the light of understanding.)
ReplyDeleteI'll bet that eventually margin will tell us. Clever little rhyme, there.
ReplyDeleteI have a photo taken today of a skink, Any chance that Marvin would know him?
ReplyDeleteSimple and easy to remember.
ReplyDeleteDon't deviate from your course?
