This year it's all about the
The A to Z of
A LIZARD'S TAIL
A LIZARD'S TAIL
In which I will describe, show pictures of, and otherwise expound on plants and animals mentioned in the novel.
P is for Prince Leopold
P is for Prince Leopold
Although we never "see" Prince Leopold, I imagine him as a fine, handsome male with a magnificent ridge. This is how I think Marvin will look once he has fully grown.
P is also for The Palm Tree Forest
A place of restful peace.
He is certainly is a prince among creatures.
ReplyDeleteWonderful! Reminds me of home.
ReplyDeleteMaui Jungalow
He sounds very stately! :D
ReplyDeleteThat forrest is gorgeous. The picture inspires me!
Ruffles aren't the only thing to have ridges!
ReplyDeleteHow fun to grow up on an island! Beautiful pics:)
ReplyDeleteThe Palm Tree Forest sounds like a great place to visit. But I wouldn't want to live there.
ReplyDeleteThe Prince of the Palm Tree Forest: sounds like a good title for a book!
ReplyDeleteOnce those lizards are fully grown and develop that ridge I think they truly look prehistoric and a little bit scary.
ReplyDeleteHow I miss Palm Trees and the sound of them gently rustling in the breeze. I could easily fall asleep at the beach listening to them and the song of Old Man Ocean.
Now I'm all caught up and ready for next week.
Hi Bish - Prince Leopold looks like he might be special if we're ever allowed to see him - and I'm sure Marvin will slowly morph into a very handsome boy with a stunning ridge .. while the Palm Forest will give the critters cover away from the midday sun and all evil ..
ReplyDeleteCheers Hilary
