N is for Nature

Nature: Middle English, from Middle French, from Latin natura, from natus past participle of nasci meaning, to be born. The words nation and natural come from the same root.

Nature: The inherent character or basic constitution of a person or thing, its essence, disposition or temperament.



Nature: A creative and controlling force in the universe, an inner force or the sum of such forces in an individual.

Nature: A kind of class usually distinguished by fundamental or essential characteristics.

Nature: The physical constitution or drives of an organism.

Nature: A spontaneous attitude, as of generosity.

Nature: The external world in its entirety.

Nature: A man's original or natural condition.

Nature: Natural scenery.

Which definition applies to this question: What is the nature of your writing?

  6. Awesome pictures! The nature of my writing? Hmmm...if I had to pick a definition that you've posted, I'd choose #2, both as an explanation of myself and of the characters I create.

  7. Bish, I love her. She looks like our dog in that she can be a big baby when it comes to petting and loving. I love her. :-)

    The external world in its entirety and natural scenery would be the nature of my writing. :-)

    Though definitions 4, 6, and 7 work too!

  22. I love nature, it is so wonderful and inspiring.
    Great pics, your dog looks like he has a lot of personality.
    I don't write, I draw, paint....anything I can create with my hands.
    And the nature of it, is usually nature inspired. :)
