Time for a Change

I am suspending this blog for an indefinite period of time. 

I don't get to other blogs and read what's going on with all of you and that in itself seems unfair. I can't expect people to come to my blog if I don't go to theirs. I'm such a slow reader that I have to dedicate a whole day to visiting blogs. So, the basic reason for my terrible lack in participation is that I simply don't have the time. If I didn't work on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, I'm sure it would be different, I'd be able to dedicate the first Wednesday of every month and peruse your posts to my heart's content. But I can't and by the time Friday comes around I'm just too tired and not interested. (I'm being brutally honest with you and myself here.) 

I'm also feeling quite uninspired. I think my exploration of odd phrases and words is trite, irrelevant, and mostly fluff of no significance or import. 

I need to rethink what the purpose of this blog should be. Right now, because of the current situation both here in the US and abroad, I'm all kinds of out of sorts and do not want to turn this space into a political minefield. 

I am ever so grateful for all the support this blogging community has given me over these many years, I couldn't have self-published my three books without ALL of you.
