B is for...

Welcome to my 7th Challenge. Thank you Arlee Bird!  I know a certain Brit with a certain dog, who's a modest internet star, who thinks we are all crazy for doing this. So I'm doing something off the wall and a bit different just to put a smile on his face (and yours too I hope) and her muzzle if they so happen to stop by.

It's all about the A to Z of:

Shakespearean Insults
First Folio

Today's insult: Thou art a BOOTLESS mottle-minded dewberry.

AND

Surrealist Compliments!
Alexa szlavics oilpainting

Today's compliment: Give me your hand that I may want of your BROKEN nails.

May they cause you to smile.
May they lighten your day and help you take things less seriously.
Pass them on if you would like.
Make up your own and share in the comments.

  2. What a fabulous insult - even if I don't know what a mottle-minded dewberry is!

  4. Loving these! It's good to have access to words that can replace the usual expletives. My offering for insult: barnacled bandycoot. And for a complement balletic beatificence

  5. I'm going to try using 'broken nails' on my wife the next time she comes it from changing their colour again.

  6. I'm not sure the recipient of either of these would understand, and a slap might happen (Bob). LOL
    Great A to Z!

  7. I've got to find a way to use that insult in a book. The "bootless mottle-minded dewberry" has to be one of the best series of words I've ever read. Thank you Shakespeare. Thank you Bish.

  8. Shakespeare's insult reminds me of that line from Monty Python and the Holy Grail - your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!

  10. "B" is for "Bish!" Speaking of good old Willie, apparently his grave is somewhat Bootless and headless.

In the fine art of checking out the alphabet thingy posts, I thoroughly skimmed through your post! :)

    Take care, eh.
