W is for...

This is my 6th year for doing the challenge. To learn more go to The A to Z Challenge Blog.

This year it's all about the
The A to Z of
A LIZARD'S TAIL

In which I will describe, show pictures of, and otherwise expound on plants and animals mentioned in the novel.

W is for Wild Cat

Every story has to have an antagonist. In A Lizard's Tail it's a wild, or feral, cat that has come into the Garden and threatens the lives of all who live there.
This is not your cuddly pet. This is a dangerous enemy.

  1. Hi Bish - love wild cats ... but they are very wild, and almost more so than the big cats ... as they're so 'feral' too ... terrified of us and ready to attack at all times - though not sure what that feral cat would do - keep its prey or take a stab at us ... cheers Hilary

  2. They pounce and jump so high as they seem to appear out of nowhere.

  3. I always feel bad for feral cats. If we hadn't adopted Rocko & Spunky, they would've become wild.

  4. As much as I love felines, I know they take down huge numbers of birds. They also catch my lizards and I value them greatly. Because I have a large number of Blue Bellies, I have no snails. Ban the cat.
