  1. Don't know if I could list my favorite, but I did read a lot more books last year thanks to my iPad. And I see Save the Cat on your list - I got so much out of that book!

  2. Wow! I'm impressed with people who not only read, but keep a list of the books read! You might want to check out Amanda's blog: Born Bookish -- she's a college student, daughter of Ruth (inluv on the Blueboards) -- and she writes excellent reviews.

What good books did I read last year? Hmmm ... many. But here are a few that have stayed with me:
If you want to walk on water, you have to get out of the boat by John Ortberg.
The Land Between by Jeff Manion
A Dog called Kitty by Bill Wallace
    Flip by Martin Bedford

    Have a happy reading year.

  4. I love your list. I also adored Moon Over Manifest, but my hands-down 2011 favorite is Okay for Now by Gary Schmidt.

  5. HOw cool! I love your list. :) Last year I managed to read 37 actual books and listen to 54 audiobooks. I love keeping lists like these--its a constant reminder of what we've accomplished with our time. :)

  6. I think this year I'm going to write down all the books I read to keep track. I didn't do that last year, and while I don't think I hit my goal of a book a week, I wonder how close I came.

Hope you had a fantabulous holiday Bish!

  7. I'm an eclectic reader, too, but The Hunger Games trilogy and Open Minds stand out as my favorites for the year and for all time, too, as a matter of fact! I guess I like YA dystopian. Happy New Year, Bish! That's a great list of books that you read.

  8. Great list! I read a few on there and loved them (Possession, Nightshade City).
I HAVE to read Save the Cat. Everyone raves about it!
    Happy New Year, Bish!

  9. Great list! See a couple of writer friends I know in there too, which is always fun.

I read all of Michelle Moran's books last year. She writes historical fiction. I can't wait to get her newest one, which is finally out on paperback -- Madam Tussaud.

  10. I'm terrible about making lists of books I've read, but I've also read Light Beneath Ferns, Angela's Ashes, Sick Puppy -- and a number of other books on your list.

I'm on a Jasper Fforde kick right now, steadily working my way through his books and enjoying them. But I'm taking a break, reading Liz Jensen's The Rapture. I LOVE Liz Jensen's writing and can't get over how many people have never heard of her.

    Have a good reading-and-writing 2012, Bish!

  11. Hi, Bish, you did get through a lot of books last year. My favourite read was The Book of Night Women by Marlon James. I'm looking forward to reading Across the Universe.

  12. I only read about 35 books last year and at least 10 of those were audiobooks from the library. I'm hoping to push myself to 45 this year.

I just picked up a few on your list.
