M is for Mom

This post is a little different.

Synchronicity or coincidence? You decide.

It is tax day.
It is my mother's youngest brother's birthday.
One year ago today, my mother died peacefully in her sleep a month shy of her 93rd birthday.
And, today's letter is M.

M could only stand for Mom, the woman who taught me to read and who always encouraged me to write. Many years ago she gave me the book, The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron. In it she inscribed in her large flowing hand, "To Bish, follow the way. Love, Mom."

So here's to Mom. A life in pictures.

Who has encouraged you in your writing?

The hubby encourages me. He's always after me to give him my daily word count. (He doesn't know I count my lists.) *wink*
