Welcome to my 7th Challenge. Thank you Arlee Bird! I know a certain Brit with a certain dog, who's a modest internet star, who thinks we are all crazy for doing this. So I'm doing something off the wall and a bit different just to put a smile on his face (and yours too I hope) and her muzzle if they so happen to stop by.
It's all about the A to Z of:
Shakespearean Insults
Today's insult: Thou art a WITHERED WEAK-KNEED Satan.
AND
Surrealist Compliments!
Today's compliment: WARTHOGS bow to the pond scum of your passage way.
Brilliant insult - I'm not too sure about that compliment - it made me blush and wince!

Well done. Interesting choice of topics. Popping in as part of the challenge https://mhsusannematthews.wordpress.com
ReplyDeleteBad enough to be called Satan.
ReplyDeleteGreat insult. The man must have been extremely angry to put all those horrible words together and to top it with Satan. Class! Thanks for the post.
ReplyDeleteHeh. Another compliment that sounds more like an insult.
ReplyDeleteHi Bish - love Warthogs ... that wasn't too nice! Being withered and weak-kneed is bad enough! Cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteI'd rather Shakespeare didn't write compliments for me. I need to find a different playwright, one who won't use Warthogs in the same sentence as a pronoun referring to me.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I'd want to walk among warthogs even if bow!
ReplyDeleteMy A-Z story features 4 neglected W words
My friend Rosey has had a go too - Wobbly Wosey!
compliment was rather hard hitting
ReplyDeleteThat was some Shakespearean insult!
ReplyDeleteNice. Not sure the compliment wasn't an insult... :)
ReplyDelete...WEAK-KNEED Satan...wow! that was rough.
ReplyDeleteLove the withered weak-kneed Satan. Great imagery!

That's a pretty good insult all right!
ReplyDeleteThe compliment sounded like one I would give and get in trouble
ReplyDeleteI have a character from a work in progress who has taken offense to the weak-knee Satan! ;)
