R is for...

Welcome to my 7th Challenge. Thank you Arlee Bird!  I know a certain Brit with a certain dog, who's a modest internet star, who thinks we are all crazy for doing this. So I'm doing something off the wall and a bit different just to put a smile on his face (and yours too I hope) and her muzzle if they so happen to stop by.

It's all about the A to Z of:

Shakespearean Insults
First Folio

Today's insult: Thou art a RANCID pile of scarlet sin.

AND

Surrealist Compliments!
Alexa szlavics oilpainting

Today's compliment: How RAVISHING is the pulsating of your nuclear tongue.

May they cause you to smile.
May they lighten your day and help you take things less seriously.
Pass them on if you would like.
Make up your own and share in the comments.

  1. Fabulous insult - and one I might actually be able to remember! As for that compliment... you're making me blush. :)

  5. Scarlet sin and a nuclear tongue! These will fill my day with humor. Combine them and look out. :)

  7. Nothing worse than scarlet when it comes to sin, and I'm trying to imagine a pulsating nuclear tongue. That's a hard one to "see" so close to breakfast.

  8. Oh dear, I don't like being rancid. But I'll definitely lean into ravishing and see what my tongue thinks.

  9. Ah, a compliment that actually sounds like a compliment. Heh.

  10. Rancid is pretty straightforward. And I actually like that compliment!

  11. These are hilarious. I'm quite certain my teenager has a nuclear tongue--that well developed skill at put downs. (One hopes she'll outgrow it, at least a little).
