Welcome to my 7th Challenge. Thank you Arlee Bird! I know a certain Brit with a certain dog, who's a modest internet star, who thinks we are all crazy for doing this. So I'm doing something off the wall and a bit different just to put a smile on his face (and yours too I hope) and her muzzle if they so happen to stop by.
It's all about the A to Z of:
Shakespearean Insults
Today's insult: Thou art an ABHORRENT remnant.
AND
Surrealist Compliments!
Today's compliment: Your face does bend the most ANOREXIC mirror into a sensuous playground of muscular spasms.
...and I burst out laughing!
ReplyDeleteThis is priceless!
Imagine a character in a modern setting who speaks in this fashion. Now wouldn't that would make a great story?
Bish, it's great to march alongside you as part of The Joyful Brigade!
Onward march!
Writer In Transit
Great. I shall enjoy the Shakespeare insults but might need some tips on how to use them.
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm going to enjoy your posts during this Challenge, Bish! Excellent stuff.

ReplyDeleteLOL! The surrealist one is almost like another language. Complimentary and yet...
ReplyDeleteTruly imaginative. Such fun, thanks!
ReplyDeleteThat compliment is a mouthful to say :)
ReplyDeletebetty
Shakespeare had a way with words!
ReplyDeleteWe've done this every year now, Bish. Awesome, huh? Yes, Gary is trembling...
"Thou art a yeasty earth-vexing giglet!" Now, should I go and look up just exactly what I generated?
ReplyDeleteIt worked - I've got a smile on my face!
ReplyDeleteKeith's Tiny Tales! My obscure word today is Absquatulate
Giving visitors a smile each day is a great idea, Bish. I hope the ghost of Mark Twain can do that for my visitors each day of April. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Insults and compliments each day!
ReplyDeleteYou had me going there. I wondered to myself...did Shakespeare really say that? I love your surrealist image. So cool!

ReplyDeleteGreat and refreshing approach, Bish. So pleased I stopped by. Put a smile on my face. Thanks. Look forward to checking in over the next few weeks. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your choice of words!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, Shakespeare was a brilliant insulter (insultist?). I look forward to more.
ReplyDeleteLove this theme! Definitely made me smile, thanks :)
ReplyDelete:D Interesting, looking forward to read more! Best regards, The Truck Traveller
ReplyDeleteHi Bish,
ReplyDeletePenny and I, her mere British, Canadian human, duly note you have so kindly mentioned us. Yes, Penny is smiling and I'm smiling. Still, I do think you're all crazy for doing the ridiculous A to Z. It will be my duty to detox the lot of you at the end of April. That way, maybe, just maybe, you will not continue on with the reflection posts about the alphabet that take up the 11 months after April.
Seriously, cheers, have fun and yep, see you on Farcebook!.
Gary :)
the compliment is surely more interesting than the insult, keep it up
