One way to get the juices flowing is to write down your dreams.
Think about a dream you’ve had and where it ends, continue writing and see where it goes.
OR:
Retell a dream in second person present tense (you are.)
OR:
Spend five minutes writing about the dreams (hopes) you have for yourself, your family, your life, the world. Be detailed and specific
I had a doozie last night. A 'club' of super heroes who were losing their powers and so they congregated in this huge warehouse filled with steaming pipes that somehow contained the secret of their powers. A little boy wonder cut his finger and held it into the steam and it healed! There was more, but I won't hijack your blog THAT bad. LOL
ReplyDeleteFunny you should mention dreams. I had a dream last night that was unsettling. Actually all my dreams are that way. I used to write them down but I don't anymore because if I try and decode them, they all say the same thing...go back to RI.
ReplyDeleteNow if only I could remember my dreams. ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great prompt, Bish. I always have crazy dreams!
ReplyDeleteThat would be fun to have a dream journal. Pure craziness!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in eighth grade, I did a report on dreams and also kept a dream journal. I wish I still had it!
I never remember my dreams ... but I do love writing about my dreams and taking concrete steps to make them come true ...
ReplyDeleteI've had some great dreams. But as soon as I start to talk about them, they seem to fade away. I should try writing them down.
