I just saw this movie over the week-end. Anyone else seen it?
I am just about speechless, in a wonderful, good way.
Four More Pattern-Breaking Questions.
5. What is the sound of a lemon?
6. What are the sounds of silence?
7. What is the color of silence?
8. What does war taste like>
so. . . were you speechless in a good way or a bad way? I haven't seen it. My hubby and I are always on the lookout for a good movie. We almost ALWAYS go to the movies when we have a date night.
ReplyDeleteOK. I'm feeling a little creative today. I'll give this a shot! I love these questions
1) sound of a lemon = "squirt
2) sound of silence = like a breaking heart
3) The color of silence whitish-black but not gray.
4) War tastes like dirt, sweat
Oooooh, these are heavy thoughts and I haven't had any coffee yet!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen it, but I want to.
ReplyDeleteThose questions are more of a challenge than the first set. Some things came to mind immediately for the others, but these'll make me stop and think...
Silence would be a very pale blue-grey.
More great questions!
ReplyDelete1) Sound of a lemon - like a Master Sergeant barking orders at your taste buds, but the tone of a West Indian lime would be juicier and considerably sharper.
2) Sounds of silence - The miracles you can't hear - like the sound of growing plants or swimming jellyfish .
3) Color of silence - what you see when you close your eyes and are, at last, able to drift into a peacful sleep.
4) Taste of war - For those seeking glory, it tastes like "more!"
Christy, I have edited my post to say "I'm just about speechless in a wonderful, good way." It is an amazing movie.
ReplyDeleteRena, I agree, those are some heavy questions....
I think, Adrienne, that these questions (more will be forth coming) are good to keep around to help stir up a sluggish mind. The answers can change and different every time you do them, according to your mood.
I LOVE your answer to the sound of silence, Erva!
Here's my shot at it.
1. A lemon sounds like the crackling creak of my jaws as all the muscles in my mouth contract when something really sour hits my taste buds (and you know how I love most all things sour!)
2. Silence sounds like a cotton ball.
3. Silence is the color of the universe, the color of infinity.
4. War tastes like blood, metal, gunpowder, salt, smoke, dust, despair.
I haven't seen the movie yet, but I'm very curious about it...
ReplyDeletesound of a lemon - nails on a chalkboard...at least I make the same face when I hear that and when I bite into a lemon
sounds of silence - life...if you take the time to be silent and listen, you will learn a lot about life...and yourself...
color of silence - white, like the clouds in Heaven...
war taste like - I agree with you Bish...it taste like blood
