It is a sensitizing experience, and one which makes you think hard about how you see others.Mary Witzlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06458299046574564155noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8433839509609523237.post-51416312730187749942009-04-04T08:03:00.000-05:002009-04-04T08:03:00.000-05:00Thanks Christy.Erva, You're probably right about h...Thanks Christy.

Erva, You're probably right about how Trumps got his "name."

Julia, Thanks for stopping by.

Adrienne, It's true, Trumps definitely had the Zen of sweeping down.Bish Denhamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13359927719391990534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8433839509609523237.post-51478438190754939932009-04-03T08:07:00.000-05:002009-04-03T08:07:00.000-05:00What an interesting character. There is something meditative about sweeping(maybe I'll get to the front walkway today...)Adriennehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05583029102450754497noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8433839509609523237.post-82903647733168970232009-04-02T17:21:00.000-05:002009-04-02T17:21:00.000-05:00What a sweet post! What a sweet post!Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05327115462108440907noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8433839509609523237.post-79645417807020341972009-04-02T15:26:00.000-05:002009-04-02T15:26:00.000-05:00Doesn't everyone need the experience of being in t...Doesn't everyone need the experience of being in the minority? I've always thought that major world problems could be solved by learning what it is to be "different" as we soon learn just how much "alike" we really are!

I can hear Miss Meada calling, "O..haaayyyy......neeeee...oh!" with the high tones on the second and third syllables of his name.

Would love to know how he came to be called "Trumps," but then, I think I know as in the VI, when we know each other well, we tend to describe each other rather graphically and the various sensory perceptions become a part of that descriptive name... and no one takes offense. My VI guess is that the name "Trumps" came from the sight and sound he made as he walked and swept. Remember how the two young Ruth's we knew were described or what the "pigeon-toed" boy was called?

Loved this post!!!!!Ervahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10375315470662416500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8433839509609523237.post-52917467668194584602009-04-02T12:04:00.000-05:002009-04-02T12:04:00.000-05:00Wow!
